MEET THE COMMITTEE
These are the people responsible for the day to day running of the club during 22/23 - each are in charge of a different element. If you are looking for help or information, these are the people to go to!
Elinor Greensheilds
President
Elinor is going into her 3rd year at Edinburgh University studying Philosophy and Psychology. After doing an amazing job as competition secretary last year ensuring the smooth running of all our comp weekends and keeping us all in check she is more than suited to be a brilliant president! She is dedicated and motivated to keep the club at its best and we can't wait to see the new editions she has planned for this year. We look forward to having Elinor as our new president and can't wait to see what she has to offer!
Janann Durnford
Secretary
Janann is going into her 3rd year of studying Veterinary Medicine. Having learnt all about the club as Treasurer last year, Janann is the perfect candidate to help run EUTC. Janann shows unrivalled dedication to the tramps, always making time to come to training whether to coach or train. She has yet to miss a competition in her two years at Edinburgh and you can always rely on her to bring the fun and laughter to socials. She is sure to keep the club in the right direction and we can't wait to see all the exciting things she brings to the club this year!
Aisling Lawless
Treasurer
Aisling is going into her third year at Edinburgh University studying Accounting and Finance, making her the perfect person to be in charge of the club's money! Aisling has been a committed member of EUTC, attending competition weekends even when not competing just to cheer on her fellow tramps (and of course, attend the social!). She is a kind, friendly and reliable person always around for a chat and we are very excited for her to be part of the committee this year and looking forward to all she has to bring!
Mathilda Ellis
Competition Secretary
Mathilda is going into her 2nd year of Medical Sciences at Edinburgh University. Mathilda has been trampolining for 13 years, coaching for 8 as well as competing at nationals with her home club and doing some judging. Despite only joining us last year, Mathilda has already made her mark on EUTC. She has competed at all competitions, so there is no one better to go to for help or questions about them! Mathilda has been a great member of the club over the last year and we can't wait to have her bring her experience to this role!
Harry Fishwick
Community and Well-being Officer
Harry is going into fourth year studying History at Edinburgh University. Although he has only been with EUTC for a year he has always been a friendly face, making everyone feel welcomed and included, which is why he was such a great New Members Rep last year. He is also known for his incredible ability to fall gracefully on the trampoline and somehow not injure himself. His great sense of humour and enthusiasm for inclusion makes him perfect for this role! We are sure he'll bring some great things to the club this year!
Phoebe Taylor
Social and Sponsorship Secretary
Phoebe is going into her third year of Genetics at the University of Edinburgh. Phoebe is not one to turn down a night out (especially those ending up at cheese!) and her bubbly personality and enthusiasm makes her the perfect social secretary! Phoebe is a friendly face at training, socials and competitions, and will always be there to support others! She has been trampolining for many years and is known to try crazy moves in training which are always fun to watch. Make sure to keep your eyes out for all the socials to come!
Isla Smith
Social and Sponsorship Secretary
Isla is going into her third year studying Pharmacology at Edinburgh University. Despite being very new to EUTC (she only joined in January this year!), she has shown complete enthusiasm attending training and socials every week. After not being part of trampolining since she was a child this has been a great opportunity for her to rekindle her love for it! We are all sure she will plan some amazing socials for us this coming year and can't wait to have more Wednesday nights spent with her!
Anna Fullard
Publicity and Webmaster
Anna is going into her second year studying Medicine at the University of Edinburgh. She has been very active in the club this year, a kind and fun presence at socials and training, and always up for helping a tramp at a competition or on a social! Anna has shown her dedication to EUTC, turning up to competitions with her broken ankle to cheer us on and help out! Having already done a fabulous job of taking over EUTC's social media, we are so excited to have all the trampy fun in the upcoming year documented by Anna!
Chris Walls
New Members Representative
We are very excited to be completing this year's committee with Chris, our New Members Representative! Chris is a first year at the University of Edinburgh studying Computer Science and will be on hand to help the committee, as well as encourage our new members to get involved. Chris will be perfect for this role as he has already demonstrated how to get involved with EUTC by attending training sessions, socials, and even starting a coaching course! We can tell that NMR is just the start for Chris's journey with EUTC, and we can't wait to see what he does!
