HALL OF FAME

We are incredibly grateful and proud of the work that our members put in to improve the club each year. Below are just some of the recent recipients of Blues and Half Blues (performance awards) and Colours (commitment awards) awarded to outstanding members by the Sports Union.

Over the last four years, Emily has proven herself to be a true tramp at EUTC. During her year as president she didn't let the pandemic stop her from running the club and keeping everyone motivated and involved. Her positive spirit and hard work weren't just visible in her presidency: Emily was also an amazing coach, making everybody feel comfortable and happy on the trampoline. In addition to this, Emily was the club's mental health first aider, always friendly and keen to help where she can. It's for these reasons that Emily has been awarded Colours in 2021/22 and we couldn't be more proud of her!

For five years, Fiona has dedicated her time and love to the club in so many ways! She has been a qualified BG coach for some time now and has judged all competitions EUTC has attended in the last few years. In addition to that she has occupied many executive roles on committee including Treasurer and Secretary! Despite not being able to bounce due to injuries, Fiona hasn't stopped being a committed member, always showing up to training and helping everyone out. As well as doing a lot of important work behind the scenes, she brings a positive energy and such kindness to the club, making everyone feel welcome! Fiona's hard work has been rightfully recognised by the SU through being awarded Colours in 2021/22!

Bella has shown her dedication to EUTC over her four years through various roles. From her time as Publicity and Webmaster to her year as President, Bella has had a huge impact on the club. Her presidency made EUTC's comeback after the pandemic a strong one, with many new members having joined and multiple medals having been won. Along with her work on committee, Bella was a qualified BG judge and took part in many competitions, both as an athlete and a judge! Her work wasn't just restricted to EUTC, Bella worked as part of the Media team for the SU. She always brought a fun, friendly and helpful spirit to the club, which is why we are overjoyed that Bella has been awarded Colours in 2021/22!

Sean's supportive coaching style, inherent helping hand and limitless tramp knowledge has truly made him an asset to EUTC over his time in the club. Since joining EUTC in 2018, he has been vital in making our inaugural race night a success, coordinating social events as Social Secretary and making sure the club withstood the challenges 2020/21 threw at it as Captain (formerly, Competition Secretary). Sean was also the 2020/21 Scottish Student Trampoline Development Officer. Though not eligible for SU Blues or Colours as a Heriot-Watt student, Sean's dedication to EUTC and its members earned him one of EUTC's 3 inaugural Service Medals in 2020/21.

Over the past 5 years, Felix has truly made a name for himself here at EUTC. Felix is both a coach and judge, with numerous members commending his welcoming and inclusive coaching style throughout his time here. Additionally, Felix sat on both the EUTC committee as Social Secretary and Sponsorship & Alumni Officer and the Scottish Student Trampoline committee as Social Secretary, often taking on additional responsibilities outside his role. In all his roles Felix introduced novel ideas, many of which are now annual traditions within the club. We're so proud that all of Felix's hard work and dedication has been rightfully recognised as a Colours and Service Medal recipient in 2020/21.

Sophie has been a dedicated committee member, coach and judge over her past 4 years in EUTC; her percentage of sessions coached was consistently amongst the highest, she has chaired and judged at the majority of competitions and has served as Freshers' Rep, Competition Secretary and President during her time. She has played key roles in charity events, improved safeguarding, and increased membership within the the club, making 2019/20 EUTC's highest membership year on record. In her final year, Sophie dedicated herself further by taking on the role of SU Wellbeing Officer. We believe all of Sophie's hard work is duly recognised as a Colours and SU Executive Award recipient.

Jenny has excelled during her four years at EUTC, consistently performing outstanding routines. Showcasing beautiful form and her signature piked half out, Jenny has medalled at every Scottish League she has attended, contributing significantly to the club's League win in both 2018/19 and 2019/20. Alongside assisting the team, Jenny has also received the pro-Elite Women's shield twice for two years running, and thus is well deserving both of her Full Blues and shortlist for the Cameron Blue of the Year. Her dedication to the club continued well into her last year winning her a Colours award in 2021/22!

Having been a dedicated member of the club for five years, Gwynneth has proven on multiple opportunities her worthiness of a Half Blue award. Known within the club for her neat execution and ability to consistently perform elite routines, it is no surprise that Gwynneth has hit the score eight times during her time at EUTC so far. Furthermore, Gwynneth's 4th place finish at BUCS 2019 proves the high standard of her routines, whilst she has also shown diversity in winning many Double-Mini Trampoline medals in her time with us. In her last year at EUTC, Gwynneth has continued her hard work and dedication to the club and has therefore been awarded Colours in 2021/22. Congratulations Gwynneth!
